Woods Quay

Woods Quay is a private event venue moored on the River Thames at Victoria Embankment in Westminster, central London. Its position opposite the Savoy and close to Waterloo Bridge gives organisers and guests a distinctive riverside setting, with views across the Thames towards Westminster. The venue is available for private hire for celebrations and business events, from intimate dinners and milestone birthdays to receptions, meetings and corporate gatherings.

The spaces include the Cormorant Deck, East Wing and West Wing, as well as a long mooring pontoon. Each offers a different setting, and organisers can discuss which areas suit their guest numbers and plans. The quay can also be used alongside vessels from Woods' Silver Fleet for events that need additional space or a river journey. The venue's website describes arrangements ranging from smaller gatherings to larger events when the quay and fleet are combined.

Food and drink can form part of the event plan, with menus prepared by the in-house culinary team. The offering is designed to suit different formats, including private dining, drinks receptions and larger occasions. Seasonal celebrations and corporate hospitality are also catered for, with the team inviting organisers to enquire about their event requirements.

For event planners seeking a setting with a strong connection to the river, Woods Quay brings together indoor rooms, open decks and direct access to the water. Its combination of flexible hire spaces, Thames views and potential boat connections makes it suitable for a varied programme of private and corporate occasions in central London.
