Welsh Harp Environmental Education Centre

The Welsh Harp Environmental Education Centre is a nature-focused destination in north-west London, set within the Welsh Harp nature reserve. Its grounds include woodland, ponds, a meadow and a stream, alongside indoor educational and meeting spaces. This mix of outdoor habitat and sheltered facilities creates a distinctive setting for organised group activities.

The centre's main programme is outdoor environmental learning for children from early years through Key Stage 2. Facilitated sessions give school groups the chance to explore local wildlife and habitats, discover how the natural world changes through the seasons, and develop practical skills through direct experience. The centre is suitable for educational visits where learning takes place beyond the classroom, with the surrounding landscape forming an integral part of the day.

The site also hosts children's birthday parties, offering families a woodland setting for a nature-themed celebration. Party planning and entertainment are delivered by Puddles London, which runs parties at the centre. Organisers can therefore consider the location for a children's event with outdoor exploration and a dedicated indoor space.

Located on Birchen Grove, the centre provides a car park and a calm natural environment within the city. Its combination of green space, wildlife and indoor facilities makes it suited to school visits and selected children's celebrations, rather than conventional large-scale functions or general-purpose corporate events.
