The Old Town Hall

The Cellar Club is a flexible event space within The Old Town Hall, a venue in Hemel Hempstead available to hire for performances, meetings, workshops, classes and other gatherings. Its basement setting has a separate entrance from the main building, giving organisers a distinct space for events and an intimate atmosphere for audiences.

The room can be arranged in different layouts to suit the occasion. It accommodates up to 65 people standing, 55 seated or 20 in a boardroom arrangement, making it suitable for smaller performances, talks, training sessions and business meetings. Facilities include industry-standard lighting and sound, a cinema screen, versatile seating and a fully licensed bar room. Technical support and front-of-house services can also be discussed when planning a performance booking.

Organisers can enquire about hourly or day hire, and preferential rates may be available for longer-term bookings. The Old Town Hall can also discuss combining spaces for larger meetings, conferences or networking events. This flexibility allows planners to shape a booking around the format and practical needs of their event.

Located on High Street in Hemel Hempstead, The Cellar Club is part of a well-established arts venue with public transport and nearby car parks. The Old Town Hall team can provide information about access, facilities and hire arrangements, and help prospective organisers decide whether the space is right for their plans.
