Derbyshire County Cricket Club

Derbyshire County Cricket Club offers a varied choice of spaces for organisers planning events at The County Ground in Derby. The venue welcomes corporate and private bookings, from meetings and conferences to wedding celebrations, gala dinners, parties, exhibitions and team-building days.

Spaces include the Pavilion, the Legends Lounge, a boardroom and a large marquee. The Pavilion provides a setting for both business gatherings and celebrations, while the Legends Lounge can be arranged as one larger space or divided into smaller rooms. For board meetings and focused discussions, the boardroom offers a more intimate option. The marquee is a flexible, open-plan space for larger events, with access to a grassed outdoor area and views across the cricket ground. Outdoor areas can also support larger-scale events.

The club specifically welcomes weddings, including civil ceremonies and receptions, so couples can hold key parts of their day at the venue. Organisers can discuss catering options with the events team, and wedding enquiries can include arrangements for a dedicated coordinator. The venue also offers free on-site parking and accessible facilities, with event spaces suited to different layouts and guest numbers.

Located on Nottingham Road, the ground is centrally placed in Derby and has transport links to the wider East and West Midlands. Organisers can contact the events team to discuss requirements, check availability and find the most suitable room or space for their occasion.
