Mengeder Saalbau

Mengeder Markt 10, 44359 Dortmund, Germany

Mengeder Saalbau in Dortmund-Mengede is an event venue available to hire for private and public occasions. The hall, measuring around 22 by 12 metres, is suitable for celebrations, conferences, concerts, theatre performances and other events. Organisers can have the room set up to suit their plans, with rows of chairs for up to 323 people or with tables. Round tables and rows of tables are available, and the Saalbau management will arrange the requested layout.
The facilities include a stage, a permanently installed sound system with a wireless microphone, a projector, a mobile screen and free Wi-Fi. The hall is complemented by a foyer with a cloakroom, toilets and a wheelchair-accessible toilet. Artists' dressing rooms and a bar area with separate access are also available. The building can be accessed from the car park by lift.
Organisers are free to choose their caterer. Drinks must be purchased from a drinks supplier on site. The rented rooms are usually handed over one to two days before the event and must be returned swept clean, as agreed. There is parking nearby at Mengeder Markt. The bus station is in front of the building, and Mengede railway station is around 500 metres away.
The hall can be booked by contacting the management. This makes it possible to clarify in advance which seating arrangement, technical equipment and room layout best suit the occasion. The venue therefore offers a practical option for organisers looking for a centrally located hall with a stage and adaptable facilities in Dortmund.
