Fier Bussum
- Dr. Abraham Kuyperlaan 1A, 1402 SB Bussum, Netherlands
There are various indoor and outdoor spaces, including De Loods, De Poterne, Kazematten and Forttuin. The garden covers around 25,000 m² and can be used for a ceremony, reception or dinner, for example. The indoor spaces can be arranged flexibly, allowing different parts of a programme to take place at one venue. There is also a stretch tent for outdoor activities.
Couples can celebrate their wedding day here, from the ceremony and reception to dinner and the evening party. Fier Bussum is an official wedding venue of the municipality of Gooise Meren. For business organisers, the fort offers a characterful setting for gatherings with clients and other business events. There is also space for farewell gatherings and commemorations.
The team can help with the event's arrangements and planning, and advise on practical choices around the spaces, styling, catering and music. The kitchen team provides dinners, shared dining, barbecues, snacks and drinks, among other options, taking dietary requirements and personal preferences into account. Organisers can discuss the options, request a quote or arrange a tour. The venue is located on the grounds of Fort Werk IV, a historic national monument in the Hollandse Waterlinies.
