South Farms

South Farms is a countryside venue in Morris, Connecticut, set on a working farm in the Litchfield Hills. At its centre is The White Barn, a historic dairy barn adapted for contemporary gatherings, where original farm character sits alongside considered design and modern comforts. Couples can host wedding ceremonies and receptions on the property, with dedicated planning support and flexible spaces for different styles and guest numbers.

The venue includes several distinct indoor areas. The Parlor provides a main dining and event space for up to 150 seated guests, while the Hayloft offers an elevated lounge setting. The Bull Room, Lounge and Stone Barn each bring a different atmosphere and layout, with the Lounge suited to smaller celebrations, private dinners and workshops. Outside, courtyards, lawns and ceremony areas open onto views of the surrounding hills. The grounds can accommodate a tent for up to 250 guests, with open-air lawn capacity for larger gatherings. A Chef's Garden creates an intimate outdoor setting for dinners and smaller celebrations.

Beyond weddings, South Farms welcomes private parties, rehearsal dinners, milestone celebrations, business retreats and fundraisers. An in-house culinary team prepares seasonal menus, with catering, bar service, rentals and event staff available as part of the venue offering.
