Tates Creek Ballroom

Tates Creek Ballroom is a city-operated venue in Lexington, Kentucky, available to organisers planning receptions, parties and other gatherings. The single-room space suits celebrations such as birthdays, reunions, holiday parties and baby showers, as well as meetings and dinners. Wedding receptions are also among the uses listed for the facility.

The ballroom can accommodate up to 180 seated guests or 200 standing guests, according to the visitor information listing. Its flexible event use makes it an option for organisers looking for a private indoor setting for a social or community occasion. Outside catering is allowed, so planners can arrange food with a caterer of their choice rather than relying on an in-house catering service. Alcohol is permitted subject to a special fee.

Tates Creek Ballroom is part of Lexington Parks & Recreation's indoor facility rental programme. Reservations should be made at least 30 days before the event date. Organisers can contact the Parks & Recreation rentals team to ask about availability, booking requirements and the arrangements for their event. The venue is located on Gainesway Drive, next to the Tates Creek Aquatic Center.

For event planners seeking a straightforward, adaptable room in Lexington for a reception, family celebration or meeting, Tates Creek Ballroom offers a practical venue with the freedom to bring in outside catering and plan the gathering around their needs.
