Bethancourt Ballroom

Bethancourt Ballroom is a large event space within Texas A&M University's Memorial Student Center in College Station. It can host events for up to 1,700 guests, making it suitable for substantial campus, business and community gatherings. Organisers can book the ballroom as one large space or divide it into five sections, allowing the layout to suit different event sizes and formats.

The ballroom's published configurations include lecture-style seating for presentations, banquet arrangements for dinners and workshop layouts for more interactive sessions. The largest room measures 15,824 square feet, while the partitioned sections offer smaller options for meetings or parallel activities. Next to the ballroom, a pre-function area with a balcony overlooking Kyle Field provides additional space for guest arrival, networking or breaks.

The wider Memorial Student Center also has a range of meeting rooms, so organisers can consider other spaces in the building for smaller gatherings or supporting sessions. Reservations are handled through University Center & Special Events, which provides a booking system and information about room arrangements. Events requiring more extensive planning should be requested in advance. External organisers need sponsorship from a recognised Texas A&M organisation, university unit or A&M System member, and approval is subject to review and availability. This makes the venue particularly relevant to organisers with an eligible university connection who need a sizeable, adaptable setting for a meeting, reception, banquet or other special event.
