Wern Ddu Quarry

Wern Ddu Quarry is an outdoor motorbike riding destination in Gwyddelwern, near Corwen, offering bookable sessions for enduro, trials and adventure bike riders. Its site covers around 70 acres, with marked routes and terrain designed for different experience levels, from beginners to expert riders. For event planners arranging a group activity or company outing, the quarry offers a setting for shared riding sessions and group training days rather than a conventional function venue or general event space.

Riders book their own entries online, with separate options and prices for enduro and trials bikes, and age-based entry rates. The site also welcomes family visits, subject to its riding rules and supervision requirements for children. A skills area and varied routes provide opportunities for riders to practise and challenge themselves, while the quarry's natural landscape gives the outing a distinctly outdoor feel.

Camping is available on a grass pitch, with toilet and shower facilities, making an overnight group visit possible. Wern Ddu Quarry is strictly for permitted enduro, trials and adventure bikes that meet its noise limits. Motocross, pit and quad bikes are not allowed, and riders should check the requirements before booking. The business also publishes practical booking guidance and site information online. For organisers seeking an active group experience in North Wales, it offers a specialist alternative to standard indoor team activities, with the riding itself at the centre of the visit.
