The Venue at Orchard View Farms

The Venue at Orchard View Farms is a family-run wedding and event venue in Cumberland, Virginia, set on a 102-acre farm. Its countryside setting brings together open fields, an apple orchard, woodland paths, a creek, a pond and a small beach area, giving couples a choice of scenic backdrops for their day.

The main reception space is a 2,560-square-foot barn with heating and air conditioning. For ceremonies, couples can choose the outdoor area beside the pond and orchard, or plan for an indoor arrangement. The venue accommodates celebrations of up to 150 guests and provides farmhouse tables and chairs, accessible washrooms, a prep kitchen, and separate rooms for the wedding party. A covered patio, fire pit and playground offer additional spaces for guests to enjoy.

Wedding packages include venue access for preparation and rehearsal, table and chair set-up, and assistance with the event schedule and vendor planning. A day-of coordinator and DJ are also included in the listed wedding packages, along with dinnerware and table settings. Couples may choose their own suppliers, subject to the venue's arrangements with caterers. The venue's team handles set-up and clearing of the tables, so organisers can concentrate on their chosen decorations and the celebration itself.

The farm is powered by solar energy and has a backup generator. Wedding dates and package details can be discussed directly with the owners, and prospective clients can arrange a tour to see the barn, ceremony area and grounds before booking. Its combination of indoor reception space and outdoor countryside scenery makes it suitable for weddings, rehearsal dinners and other private celebrations.
