Umpqua Community Center inc

Umpqua Community Center offers indoor and outdoor spaces for organisers planning meetings, parties, classes and community gatherings in rural Oregon. The facility has several options, so organisers can reserve a single room or book the full site for a larger occasion.

The multipurpose room can be hired with a full kitchen, tables and chairs. The kitchen includes sinks, refrigerators, stoves and ovens, giving groups facilities to prepare and serve their own food. For smaller sessions, the separate meeting room measures 30 by 30 feet and includes a sink, tables and chairs. Outdoors, a covered play shed, playground and picnic tables provide space for family gatherings and activities in the fresh air.

Organisers can choose between renting the multipurpose room and kitchen, the meeting room, the outdoor area, or the entire facility. A full-site booking includes the rooms, kitchen and outdoor facilities. The centre is suitable for a range of privately organised events, from informal celebrations and family get-togethers to meetings, workshops and classes. Its rural setting and accessible parking make it a practical option for local groups and visitors from the surrounding area.

Rentals are arranged through an event agreement, with the date secured once the paperwork and deposit are received. Hire periods include time for set-up and clearing the space afterwards, and events must finish within the agreed hours. Organisers are responsible for leaving the rented areas clean. The centre provides cleaning supplies, and kitchen users can use the available kitchenware. Alcohol service requires the appropriate insurance documentation in advance. These straightforward arrangements help organisers plan a self-managed event in a community facility with adaptable indoor and outdoor spaces.
