The Steppe Center

The Steppe Center is a family-owned event venue in La Vista, near Omaha, offering flexible rooms for weddings, celebrations and business gatherings. Its spaces can host events ranging from smaller meetings and parties to receptions for up to 400 guests. Rooms can also be combined to suit different group sizes and layouts.

The largest space is the Birmingham Ballroom, a nearly 6,000-square-foot room suited to wedding receptions, birthdays, graduations and other larger occasions. Smaller rooms are available for more intimate events, while the venue also welcomes conferences, office parties, retirement celebrations, proms and cocktail receptions. Organisers can enquire about one-off bookings or longer-term room rentals.

For weddings, the venue can accommodate both the ceremony and reception. A bridal suite and additional dressing rooms give the wedding party space to prepare, and the ballroom includes room for dining, dancing and entertainment. Couples can choose their own licensed caterer, with access to the service kitchen for food preparation and service. Beverage service is available in several formats, including cash bar and hosted options.

Room hire includes tables and chairs, complimentary parking and access to the lobby and service kitchen. Other facilities include adjustable and decorative lighting, a sound system, Wi-Fi, a lobby screen and an accessible lift. The team works with organisers and their chosen suppliers to plan the room arrangement and practical details for the occasion.
