Patriots Point Naval & Maritime Museum

Patriots Point Naval & Maritime Museum offers event spaces aboard the USS Yorktown in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. Organisers can choose from several settings to suit different guest numbers and event formats, from a small board meeting to a large reception, dinner or presentation.

The Hangar Bay and Fantail provide nearly 6,000 square feet of flexible space, with a distinctive museum setting and room for groups of up to 750. The Flight Deck offers an open-air option with views across Charleston Harbour and the city. For meetings and presentations, the Board Room accommodates smaller groups and includes audiovisual facilities. The climate-controlled Smokey Stover Theater is suited to talks, screenings and larger presentations, with capacity for up to 260 people.

Event rentals include round tables and white folding chairs for up to 300 guests. Organisers can ask the venue team about hire arrangements, availability and pricing. Catering is arranged separately through the venue's preferred caterers, while additional audiovisual services, décor and security may also need to be booked separately, depending on the event.

The museum setting offers opportunities to add guided group tours or a flight simulator experience to an event. With multiple spaces, a memorable historic ship location and different room sizes, Patriots Point can accommodate corporate meetings, receptions, dinners, press events and other gatherings. The venue's event team handles enquiries and reservation requests, helping organisers identify a suitable space for their plans.
