Literaturforum im Brecht-Haus
- Chausseestraße 125, 10115 Berlin, Germany
The event hall is on the ground floor of the front building and can accommodate around 100 visitors. External organisers can hire the hall for their own events, provided these fit the venue's thematic profile. This makes the venue particularly suitable for literary and cultural events, such as book launches, discussion panels, smaller conferences or educational activities. With its wide windows overlooking Chausseestraße, the room also provides a distinctive setting in Berlin-Mitte.
The venue also offers its own educational programmes and workshops focusing on literature, theatre and social issues. Events are often also streamed live. There are two steps at the entrance to the hall, and a portable ramp is available. Anyone looking for a room for an external event should check in advance whether the concept and event fit the profile of Literaturforum. The venue is therefore particularly well suited to event planners looking for a culturally distinctive space with a literary connection.
