The Clubhouse

The Clubhouse is a small-group event space in downtown Newport, Rhode Island, overlooking Cardines Field. Its open-plan layout is available for team meetings, company retreats, workshops and private gatherings, giving organisers a flexible setting close to the town's historic attractions, cafés and restaurants.

The room can be arranged in different ways to suit the occasion, including conference-table, presentation-style and more informal seating. The current venue information describes seating for groups of up to 25. Natural daylight makes the space suitable for daytime sessions, while café-style lighting provides a warmer feel for evening events. A patio with outdoor seating extends the gathering space and offers views across the ball field.

Practical facilities include Wi-Fi, a large screen with an HDMI connection, Bluetooth surround sound, tables for meeting or buffet layouts, lounge seating, refrigerators and an ice machine. These features make the venue useful for presentations and working sessions as well as relaxed celebrations. Organisers can request availability and pricing for their preferred date and group size.

The Clubhouse is positioned for organisers looking for an intimate, adaptable space rather than a large function hall. Its downtown location makes it easy for guests to reach nearby restaurants and Newport landmarks, while the distinctive view over Cardines Field gives the venue a recognisable local setting. Optional private experiences can also be arranged through the venue's current operator, The Huddle, for groups seeking an activity alongside their gathering.
