Fox Theatre

Fox Theatre is a historic event venue in downtown Redwood City, offering organisers a distinctive setting for private celebrations, corporate functions and public performances. The restored theatre dates from 1928 and can be arranged for events ranging from seated dinners and wedding receptions to concerts, film screenings, fundraisers, conferences and holiday parties.

The main auditorium has flexible floor space that can be set up in theatre or banquet style. Depending on the layout, the venue accommodates up to 1,100 seated guests or 1,300 standing. Balcony and mezzanine areas add further seating and event space, while the approximately 3,700-square-foot lobby can host a separate reception or cocktail gathering. A stage, projection screen and established sound and lighting systems support presentations and live entertainment. The venue also has dressing rooms and backstage facilities for performers and speakers.

Organisers can work with the venue's event and production team on the practical details of their booking. Fox Theatre provides on-site management, production support, box office staff, bar staff, ticket takers and ushers. Its in-house engineers can operate the theatre's sound and lighting when these systems are used. Bar packages are available, and the team can recommend catering and party-rental providers to suit the event. The theatre's marquee can also be customised for a booked occasion.

With its stage, balcony, lobby and adaptable auditorium, Fox Theatre offers a flexible choice for planners seeking a characterful indoor venue in the San Francisco Bay Area.
