Gleis 1 is a small event venue in Waldenburg railway station, available to hire for celebrations, meetings and cultural events of your own. The room, covering around 50 square metres, offers a distinctive setting for events with a smaller number of guests. Depending on the seating arrangement, it can accommodate around 70 people in seats or 40 to 45 people at tables. Standing events can host up to 100 guests, with some seating available.

For musical and cultural events, the venue has a stage measuring around 2 by 3.9 metres, a lighting system, two speakers and an eight-input mixing desk. This makes the room suitable for smaller concerts, readings, cabaret, presentations and social gatherings, among other events. The venue has the character of a cultural pub and arts venue, with a programme of live music in various styles, art exhibitions and exhibition openings. New event ideas are also welcome.

Event planners can contact the association if they would like to use the rooms for a celebration or meeting. The contact page explicitly lists hiring the venue as an option. Please note that Gleis 1 is run by volunteers and is not a conventional conference venue. At events organised by the association, a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks is available, but no food options are listed on the programme page. Details of the date, arrangements and terms should therefore be agreed directly with the association.
