Silver Dome Ballroom

Silver Dome Ballroom is a historic event venue in rural Wisconsin, about five miles west of Neillsville on US Highway 10. Established in 1933, it welcomes organisers looking for a distinctive setting for special events, including occasions for local families and businesses. Its long history as a dance hall and entertainment venue gives gatherings a strong sense of place, while the ballroom continues to host live music and dance events.

The building is known for its unusual curved form and clear-span interior, which has no supporting pillars interrupting the main floor. Original features include a maple dance floor, making the space particularly suited to events where dancing is part of the occasion. The venue has hosted performers across a range of musical styles over many decades, and its current programme includes concerts, blues and rock shows, country music and old-time dances.

Organisers can contact the ballroom to enquire about booking the space for a special event. The venue's historic character and open dance floor offer an alternative to a conventional function room for private and business gatherings. Its location outside Neillsville provides a countryside setting, with parking and surrounding space noted in event information. The ballroom is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, reflecting its architectural character and longstanding role in the area's entertainment history.

For event planners, Silver Dome Ballroom offers a memorable setting grounded in music, dancing and local history. Contact the venue directly to discuss availability and the requirements of your event.
