The Thoroughbred Center

The Thoroughbred Center offers event planners a choice of indoor and outdoor spaces set within a working thoroughbred training facility in Lexington, Kentucky. Its equestrian surroundings give weddings, receptions and private or corporate celebrations a distinctive setting, while the range of rooms makes it possible to choose a space suited to the size and style of the occasion.

Stableview Hall is an indoor venue for larger gatherings, with seating for up to 300 guests. Exposed rafters, original barn wood, white brick walls and market lighting create a rustic atmosphere. The space also has on-site bridal suites, heating and a preparation kitchen. The Horseman's Lounge provides a more intimate indoor option for up to 125 guests, with hardwood flooring, a fireplace, chandelier, heating and air conditioning, and a preparation kitchen.

For an outdoor ceremony or reception, the Paddock accommodates up to 200 guests for a ceremony or cocktail hour, and up to 150 for a seated reception. Its landscaped grounds look out across rolling pastures and include an archway entrance, a wishing well, bridal suites and a preparation kitchen. The venue allows organisers to choose their own caterer, giving them flexibility over food arrangements.

The spaces can serve different parts of a wedding day, from an outdoor ceremony to an indoor reception, and also suit other celebrations and gatherings. Site visits are arranged by appointment, allowing planners to view the facilities and discuss their event with the events team. With several distinct settings, practical preparation facilities and a memorable horse-country backdrop, The Thoroughbred Center is an option for organisers looking for a characterful venue in the Lexington area.
