Historic Palace Theatre

The Historic Palace Theatre offers event organisers a distinctive venue in downtown Lockport, New York. Opened in 1925, this historic theatre has a proscenium stage and an auditorium suited to events where a stage, audience seating and a memorable setting are central to the occasion.

The venue is available to hire for weddings and receptions, corporate meetings and conferences, fundraisers, galas, concerts, live performances, school events, graduations, private celebrations and community gatherings. Organisers can also enquire about film screenings, presentations, award ceremonies and holiday events. The theatre considers enquiries for both private functions and performances, with rental details arranged around the proposed event, schedule and production needs.

For staged events, the Palace has backstage dressing rooms, stage access and technical facilities that include a counterweight fly system, lighting equipment, a lighting console, line-array sound and a digital mixing console. This makes it a practical option for productions and presentations that need more than a conventional function room. Organisers can discuss the available equipment and technical requirements with the theatre when planning their hire.

Set in the centre of downtown Lockport, the venue is within walking distance of public parking. The building provides ramped access to the main floor, accessible seating and accessible first-floor facilities. Event planners can contact the Palace to check availability, discuss the type of event and request information about rental options and pricing. Whether the occasion is a formal reception, a community gathering or a live performance, the theatre combines a historic auditorium with facilities for hosting guests and presenting an event.
