Blue Tin Ranch

Blue Tin Ranch is a family-run farm venue in Burbank, South Dakota, offering couples a countryside setting for wedding celebrations. The property is reserved for one wedding at a time, giving organisers the weekend to prepare, celebrate and clear away without a quick turnaround. Weekend hire runs from Friday at noon until Sunday at noon, with one flat-rate package.

At the heart of the venue is the 605 Barn, a newly built space inspired by the character of the original 1909 barn. Large sliding doors open towards a covered patio, bringing the outdoor setting into the celebration. The wider property offers several options for ceremonies, photographs and time with guests, including a gazebo, a wooded path lit with fairy lights, a front lawn and a gathering area with swings around a firepit. The lawn can also be used for outdoor seating or games.

Accommodation is available on site for groups who want to stay close to the celebrations. The guest house and Chicken Coop are included in the wedding weekend rental, while the upstairs apartment can be arranged separately. Between these spaces, the property can accommodate guests overnight, and there are bathrooms on site, including an accessible family bathroom.

Couples can choose their own suppliers rather than use a required preferred-vendor list. Blue Tin Ranch welcomes organisers looking for a personal farm wedding with room for both indoor and outdoor celebrations, and is booking events for 2027 and beyond. The venue is around ten minutes from Vermillion, with other accommodation options in nearby towns for guests who need additional rooms.
