The Chambers Theatre

The Chambers Theatre is a historic performance venue available to rent for private and professional events in downtown Buda, Texas. Set inside the former city council chamber, it has an intimate octagonal layout, tall timber ceilings and a stage, giving gatherings a distinctive setting with a strong sense of character. The theatre is part of Inspired Minds Art Center, whose wider facility also offers gallery, studio and lobby spaces for hire.

At around 1,600 square feet, the theatre can accommodate up to 100 guests, with seating arrangements suited to different event formats. Organisers can consider it for conferences, meetings, weddings, recitals, private performances, parties and film or movie nights. The stage, professional lighting and sound equipment support presentations and live entertainment, while a projector and large screen can be arranged for an additional charge. Stage extensions are also available on request.

The rental facility includes access to a lobby and covered outdoor area, useful for welcoming guests, informal breaks or mingling. Additional spaces elsewhere in the centre include art studios, a gallery and classrooms, making it possible to choose a setting that suits the size and style of a gathering. Tables, chairs and creative supplies are available, and the site has accessible facilities and parking.

The theatre also presents its own programme of plays, musicals, improv, live music and film screenings. Event organisers can therefore book a venue with a working performance space and a lively connection to the local arts community.
