Firehouse Chicago

Firehouse Chicago is a distinctive venue for organisers planning weddings, private celebrations and corporate events in the Edgewater neighbourhood. Set inside a restored 1906 firehouse, the space pairs original architectural character, including white glazed brick and high ceilings, with vintage furnishings and practical facilities for hosting guests.

The venue offers a main event space, additional multipurpose rooms and a garden that can be used for ceremonies, receptions and outdoor gatherings. A wedding platform, garden balcony, tent option and private wedding suites give organisers several ways to shape the day and accommodate different parts of the programme. For indoor occasions, the historic interiors and reclaimed wood bars provide a characterful setting for dinners, parties, showers, rehearsal dinners and other celebrations. The venue also welcomes corporate events and gatherings such as training sessions.

Planning support is part of the offering. The team can help with vendor referrals, timelines and floor plan customisation, then assist with set-up, decor placement and vendor oversight on the event day. Furniture and event essentials, including chairs, farm tables, bars and lighting, are available as part of the venue arrangements. There is also a full-service kitchen, while the garden lounge furniture and tent-heating options help organisers plan for different seasons and event styles.

With its historic details, indoor and outdoor areas, and hands-on coordination, Firehouse Chicago gives event planners a flexible setting for intimate weddings and social or business occasions. Organisers can enquire about availability and discuss the right layout for their event and guest count.
