Lotus Bend Sanctuary

Lotus Bend Sanctuary is a private retreat and event venue in Manchaca, around 25 minutes south of central Austin. Set across seven acres, it offers organisers a quiet, nature-rich setting for workshops, classes, healing retreats, training sessions and other small gatherings. Visits are arranged in advance, and organisers can submit an enquiry with their preferred dates, group size and space requirements.

The main lodge includes a meeting room of approximately 480 square feet, with adjoining areas that provide extra room for serving and smaller breakout sessions. The venue also has a kitchen, bathrooms and outdoor decking with seating. Its indoor and outdoor spaces can be used in combination, subject to availability and the needs of the gathering. The booking form lists options such as tables, folding chairs, kitchen use, the fire pit and the labyrinth.

Outside, the grounds include gardens, walking paths, meditation areas, a koi pond, a fire pit and a wet-weather creek. These features make the setting particularly suited to reflective, wellbeing-focused and nature-based programmes, as well as intimate community or private events. Overnight accommodation may be available for some multi-day bookings, with arrangements to be confirmed directly with the venue.
