Black Bird Farm

Black Bird Farm is a rural event venue set on 150 acres in Columbus Grove, Northwest Ohio. Its historic barn and renovated farmhouse combine period character with practical facilities, offering organisers a distinctive setting for weddings, company gatherings and private celebrations.

The barn is the main event space, with a bar, kitchen, modern toilets and an adjoining patio. It can seat up to 200 guests. For larger gatherings, organisers can add a tent and seating on the grounds, bringing the stated maximum capacity to 400. The venue also offers several ceremony and reception locations, so couples can plan an outdoor celebration while having the option to move the ceremony indoors if the weather changes.

The farmhouse provides spaces for wedding parties to get ready, including a bridal suite and a grooms' den. Handmade tables and cross-back chairs are available, and the property has parking on site. Couples can choose a venue-only or more supported approach, including an all-inclusive wedding collection arranged with a wedding consultant. That collection can bring together the venue, catering, cake and desserts, flowers and décor, signage, music and entertainment through the venue's selected suppliers.

Beyond weddings, Black Bird Farm welcomes corporate events, luncheons, workshops, graduations, showers, milestone celebrations and family reunions. The farm also hosts its own farm-to-table dinners and creative workshops. Its countryside location, historic buildings and open grounds give organisers several ways to shape an event, from a small gathering in the farmhouse to a larger barn celebration. Tours are arranged by appointment, allowing planners to view the spaces and discuss a suitable format for their event.
