The Chester Bluecoat Charity

The Chester Bluecoat Charity offers two accessible meeting rooms for hire at The Bluecoat, a historic building in central Chester. The rooms are available to external organisations and suit meetings, training sessions, workshops and other work events. Hiring space here also supports the charity's work for local people and community organisations.

The Oak Room is on the ground floor and accommodates up to 12 people in a boardroom layout. It has a television for audiovisual presentations, plus a flipchart and pens. The larger Conference Room can be arranged in several layouts for groups of up to 50. Its equipment includes a projector and screen, lectern, flipchart and pens, with a separate breakout room available for breaks.

Both rooms have accessible facilities. The Conference Room is on the first floor, with step-free access via a ramp and lift, while the Oak Room is close to the main entrance. The building also has accessible toilets.

Rooms can be booked for a morning, afternoon or full day, with hire ending by 5pm. The charity does not provide refreshments, but organisers may bring their own or arrange a delivery. Not-for-profit organisations can request a reduced hire rate. The Bluecoat is within walking distance of Chester's bus station and railway station, with public car parks nearby.
