Bürgerzentrum Remise is a municipal venue and meeting place in Halle (Westf.). The listed complex was built on the former site of the Kisker distillery. Its historic buildings include Remise, Schinkenhaus and Destille. Today, the site houses various public and cultural facilities, including the town library, the adult education centre, a youth centre and services for people of different generations.
For event planners, the rooms available in Schinkenhaus are of particular interest. The town rents out a larger room there with a kitchenette and crockery, which is especially suitable for children’s birthday parties and smaller gatherings. The information available states that it can accommodate up to 20 people. For bookings or questions about current facilities and availability, it is best to contact the relevant department at the City of Halle (Westf.) directly.
Cultural events, exhibitions, talks and meetings are also held at Remise. The historic character of the former distillery buildings gives the venue a distinctive setting and makes it a special address for events in the town centre. Bürgerzentrum Remise is therefore both a venue for public activities and a point of contact for smaller private occasions where suitable rooms are needed. When planning, bear in mind that this is an active community centre with several facilities, so the specific use of rooms must be agreed in advance.
