Alte Seegrasspinnerei in Nürtingen is a listed industrial complex that is now used as an ecological, social and cultural centre. Event organisers can enquire about a range of spaces on the site for private celebrations, meetings, workshops and other occasions. The combination of historic industrial architecture, creative projects and shared spaces gives the venue its own distinctive character.

A bright meeting room is available for seminars, talks and smaller meetings. Those planning a celebration can hire the KulturKantine, for example for family gatherings, birthdays or events. It can accommodate around 65 people and has a stage and an adjoining room. It can be used with or without service and catering. The Backhaus can also be used for company celebrations, school trips, birthdays and club gatherings. Users are given an induction by staff from the Jugendwerkstatt.

Other spaces on the site are suitable for dance and movement classes, arts workshops, screen printing and temporary projects, among other activities. The site therefore offers more than event spaces for a single type of event, with a range of options for groups, initiatives and organisations. Restaurants and cultural venues on site add to the surroundings, while allowing organisers to choose from different room layouts.
