The Mansion at ColoVista

The Mansion at ColoVista is a private estate venue in Bastrop, Texas, where event planners can host weddings, receptions, corporate gatherings, meetings, retreats and other celebrations. Its hilltop setting looks across the Colorado River area and surrounding countryside, with landscaped grounds and outdoor spaces that provide options for ceremonies, photographs and receptions.

Inside, the mansion offers several distinctive rooms for different parts of an event, from welcoming guests to dining and dancing. Organisers can choose indoor or outdoor settings, and wedding packages include an indoor alternative in case of poor weather. The venue provides tables and chairs, selected linens, sound equipment and décor items, with package options ranging from venue-only hire to more supported wedding experiences.

For couples seeking planning assistance, selected packages include coordination, help with timelines and vendor communication, and support with the event-day arrangements. Other options include catering, bar service and additional enhancements, while venue-only hire gives organisers more freedom to assemble their own suppliers. The team also welcomes outside vendors subject to its venue requirements.

On-site cottages can give wedding parties and guests a convenient place to stay, helping celebrations extend beyond the main event. The estate's grounds, garden, views and nearby golf facilities add further possibilities for a wedding weekend or group gathering. Event planners can arrange a private tour, discuss the spaces and packages, and enquire about availability for their preferred date.
