Carl Künkele KG

Münsinger Straße 134, 72574 Bad Urach, Germany

Künkele Mühle in Bad Urach is a historic event venue for weddings, family celebrations and corporate events. The estate is set in green surroundings beside the Erms and combines the character of the former mill with indoor and outdoor spaces for a range of occasions. Event planners can choose between the large Mühlenfestsaal and the smaller Mahlstüble. The function room is suitable for larger celebrations with up to 170 guests, while the Mahlstüble provides a setting for smaller events with up to 35 people.

There are several options for wedding ceremonies: couples can exchange vows outdoors on the meadow or in the Hubertuskapelle. The park, terrace and outdoor areas can also be incorporated into the celebrations. The venue also welcomes organisers of birthdays, anniversaries, Christmas parties and other private or corporate events. The venue provides seasonal cuisine made with regional ingredients. Decoration and floral arrangements are also available on site. External suppliers such as photographers, musicians and DJs can be brought in by arrangement, but catering is provided exclusively by Künkele Mühle.

For guests who would rather not travel on after the event, there are four apartments and a converted sleeping car. There is accommodation available for groups. The venue also offers parking on site. Visits and individual arrangements can be organised directly with the team. Event planners will therefore find rooms, outdoor spaces, catering and accommodation all in one place for celebrations with a personal touch in the Swabian Jura.
