Avon Pavilion

Avon Pavilion is an outdoor event venue set within Harry A. Nottingham Park beside Nottingham Lake in Avon, Colorado. Organisers can enquire about hiring the pavilion and associated spaces for private gatherings, weddings and receptions, as well as public events, concerts, festivals, performances and community celebrations.

The venue centres on a substantial performance stage, suitable for live music, theatre and other productions. A terrace overlooking the lake provides a separate setting for gatherings, while the backstage green room offers a practical area for performers and can serve as a small kitchen for events. Depending on the requirements and availability, enquiries may also cover areas such as the viewing plaza and nearby park fields.

The lakeside setting and views towards Beaver Creek give the site an open-air character, making it a natural choice for events that benefit from an outdoor backdrop. The pavilion is designed to accommodate a range of formats, from performances and cultural programmes to private functions. Event organisers can submit an enquiry to the Town of Avon Special Events Team, which reviews the proposed event and discusses availability, fees, requirements and next steps. An enquiry does not itself confirm a reservation, and approvals or permits may apply. Organisers should consider the outdoor setting and make arrangements for any production needs, suppliers, equipment or structures required for their event.

With its stage, terrace, green room and surrounding parkland, Avon Pavilion offers a flexible venue for event planners looking to host a gathering or programme in the Vail Valley.
