Haus der Begegnung

Spandauer Straße 10, 66424 Homburg, Germany

Haus der Begegnung in Homburg-Erbach combines an open meeting place for people of different generations with rooms available for hire for events and celebrations. At its heart is a function room that, depending on the seating arrangement, use of the stage and room layout, is suitable for events with up to 150 people. A foyer can be added when needed, providing more options for receptions, conversation or breaks.

The bistro can also be used for smaller gatherings. It has space for up to 25 people. Group rooms are also available for meetings, courses, working groups or workshops. The building has around 600 square metres of usable floor space in total. The function room and bistro both have terraces, while the outdoor area offers further opportunities for activities outside.

The rooms are suitable for private celebrations as well as meetings, project groups and courses. A kitchen and refrigeration facilities are available. The stage and technical equipment can be used by prior arrangement. For private events, the handover and return of the rooms are agreed jointly. Organisers arrange the seating themselves and leave the rooms swept clean. To enquire about hiring the rooms and confirm availability and terms, direct arrangements with the venue are required.

As a multi-generational centre, the venue is also designed to encourage people to meet and take part in community activities. This makes it particularly suitable for event planners looking for an accessible, versatile venue in Homburg, for example for celebrations, smaller events, courses or gatherings with a local connection.
