The Goei Center

The Goei Center offers two distinctive event spaces in the historic Kindel Furniture building near downtown Grand Rapids, Michigan. The original Goei Center spans 14,000 square feet and can host up to 400 guests. Its connected rooms allow organisers to arrange separate areas for a ceremony, drinks reception, dinner or dancing. The 7,000-square-foot Kindel Room accommodates up to 200 guests in a more open setting, with vaulted ceilings, skylights, exposed brick and original wood beams.

Both spaces suit weddings and receptions as well as corporate gatherings, fundraisers, networking events, workshops, holiday parties and showcases. The Goei Center's historic brickwork and timber details are complemented by features such as greenery, chandeliers and water features. Organisers can discuss room layouts and event timings with the venue team, and an event host is included. Tables, chairs, Wi-Fi and suite access are among the listed venue amenities, with audio-visual options and additional décor and rental items available.

The venue also provides in-house bar service, with hosted or cash bar options and choices for custom drinks. For food, organisers can work with the venue's approved caterers. The team can share its vendor network and help with planning and event-day coordination, while the two spaces offer different capacities and layouts to suit the occasion. On-site parking and accessible entrances are available. Event planners can arrange a tour or request a quote to compare the spaces and discuss the requirements for their event.
