Gandy Civic Association

Gandy Civic Association offers its civic centre in South Tampa for private hire, giving event planners a practical indoor space for gatherings and community occasions. The hall provides around 1,200 square feet of floor space, with upgraded flooring and a full-sized preparation kitchen equipped with a refrigerator, electric stove and microwave. This gives organisers room to arrange refreshments and prepare food on site.

The venue includes both men's and women's restrooms, along with a selection of tables in different sizes and seating for guests. The supplied furniture consists of 60 folding chairs and 25 non-folding chairs, offering a useful starting point for setting up a meeting, celebration, class or other gathering. There is also parking for more than 60 vehicles, and the centre is conveniently located near businesses on Gandy Boulevard and Dale Mabry Highway.

The civic centre has served the South of Gandy community since 1959. In addition to its neighbourhood role and community initiatives, the association makes the space available for private rentals. Organisers can contact the association to ask about availability, pricing and arrangements for their plans. Its straightforward facilities allow hirers to organise their own event layout and refreshments, while the included tables, chairs and kitchen equipment help cover practical needs.

For event planners seeking a local, functional hall with on-site parking and essential amenities, Gandy Civic Center offers a community-based option in Tampa. The venue's team can provide further details about booking and help prospective hirers determine whether the space suits their event.
