De Proefklas

De Proefklas is a professional cooking studio and test kitchen of 70 m² in Zaandam, 15 minutes from Amsterdam and close to Albert Heijn's head office. The kitchen is available to rent by the half-day and is run by chef Tjitze van der Dam.

Food suppliers and brands use De Proefklas to test recipes, prepare a product presentation for buyers or hold a taste panel. Food photographers and videographers work here with plenty of natural light and over 80 tableware items. Teams book the kitchen for a cooking workshop or team outing for up to 8 people, and there is room for 6 to 12 guests at the table for private dining.

The kitchen has an induction hob (4 zones), a Palux oven, a professional dishwasher, two fridges, a freezer, a vacuum-packing machine, KitchenAid, Magimix, a blender, a slow juicer and two mobile stainless steel workbenches. There is room for 8 to 10 people at the meeting table for briefings and evaluations. All equipment, tableware, coffee and tea are included.

Rates (excl. VAT): half-day €345, full day €495, evening €345. De Proefklas is available 7 days a week, also in the evening until 22:00. Free parking right outside and easy to reach via the A8 and by train to Zaandam Kogerveld.
