The Mahaffey Theater

The Mahaffey Theater is a performing arts venue on the waterfront in downtown St. Petersburg, Florida, available for theatre rentals as well as private and corporate events. Its main auditorium seats up to 2,031 guests and offers a formal theatre setting for concerts, dance performances, talks, presentations and other live productions. The stage is supported by professional lighting and sound equipment, making the venue suitable for organisers presenting a range of shows and entertainment.

For private bookings, the theatre welcomes enquiries about occasions such as anniversary celebrations, company launches and other gatherings. Catering and event services are also offered for private functions, with options to be confirmed directly when planning a booking.

The venue is a practical choice for planners seeking a substantial seated auditorium in the Tampa Bay area, whether the priority is a public performance or a one-off private event. Organisers can contact the theatre about rental details, technical requirements and event arrangements. The location is at 400 First Street South in central St. Petersburg, with accessible facilities including wheelchair seating, accessible parking and assisted listening devices. For event planners, The Mahaffey Theater combines a sizeable performance space, built-in production facilities and a waterfront setting in one established arts venue.
