The Loft

The Loft is a private-hire event space in Montclair, New Jersey, offering organisers a characterful setting for gatherings and celebrations. Its exposed brickwork, high ceilings and prominent foyer give the room an urban, open feel, while the flexible layout can be arranged to suit different event styles.

The venue offers 2,500 square feet of event space. A standard eight-hour rental includes time for preparation, the event itself and breakdown, giving organisers a defined window to set up and clear the space. Tables and chairs are included, along with black linen and a bar structure, helping provide a practical starting point for planning the room. Two kitchen preparation areas are also available, which can support catering brought in for the occasion. The Loft provides the space and facilities rather than presenting itself as a caterer.

Organisers can consider the venue for private celebrations, receptions and other special events, then shape the room around their guest list, catering and chosen format. The exposed brick and open ceilings lend themselves to a range of styling approaches, from a simple, relaxed gathering to a more dressed-up occasion. Located at Lackawanna Plaza in central Montclair, The Loft offers event planners a dedicated indoor venue with useful amenities included in the rental. Prospective organisers can contact the venue to discuss availability and the arrangements for their event.
