De Zuidkant is a small-scale venue in Gentbrugge for organisers looking for a peaceful, green setting for gatherings and activities. It offers a room, a garden and a spacious, light-filled kitchen. These spaces can be hired individually or in combination, with arrangements agreed in consultation. The venue is suitable for workshops, training courses, creative sessions, meditative activities and initiatives focused on wellbeing, ecology, food or social connection.

The garden offers an informal outdoor setting with a terrace, greenery and space to get together. If you would like to combine a gathering with cooking or run your own food workshop, you can also hire the fully equipped kitchen. De Zuidkant can also provide sandwiches, snacks or a healthy meal for groups gathering at the venue. The kitchen is also suitable for small-scale production and projects.

In addition to the room, garden and kitchen, there is a separate caravan for special gatherings in a small group. It can accommodate up to eight people and can also be used for an overnight stay for up to three guests. This offers a range of options for small groups, from a practical workshop to a multi-day activity in an intimate setting.

De Zuidkant also runs its own workshops on topics including honey sourdough bread, food, foraging and herbs. Organisers can get in touch to discuss the available spaces, the combination they want and the hire arrangements. The venue is particularly suited to small-scale activities centred on meeting people, learning and spending time together.
