Laurel Community Center

Laurel Community Center is a city-run venue in downtown Laurel, Nebraska, offering flexible rooms for private and community events. Organisers can hire the full event centre or divide it into sections to suit a smaller gathering or meeting. The senior centre area is also available to rent, providing another option for groups seeking a more compact setting.

The event centre covers 5,600 square feet and can accommodate a range of occasions, from business meetings to celebrations such as weddings. Its North section includes a stage, which can provide a focal point for presentations, speeches or entertainment. Projectors and screens are available in both sections: two in the North area and one in the South. A bar area and catering kitchen are among the facilities provided with the event-centre rental, giving organisers useful amenities when planning refreshments or a catered event. The South section also has access to an outdoor patio, offering guests a place to step outside during the event.

Several rental configurations make the space adaptable to different event sizes and layouts. Organisers can enquire with the City of Laurel office about availability, arrangements for viewing the venue and the rental agreement. The centre is located at 302 East 2nd Street, in Laurel's downtown area. Its practical combination of indoor space, presentation facilities and supporting amenities makes it suitable for meetings, receptions and other locally organised events.
