Rick Thompson Arena

Rick Thompson Arena is an outdoor equestrian facility in Jurupa Valley, California, managed by Jurupa Area Recreation and Park District. It provides a place for horse riding and can be reserved by groups planning organised activities that need an arena setting. The facility is suited to equestrian organisers looking for a practical outdoor space for riding-related gatherings and permitted activities.

The arena is open to the public for riding during daylight hours. Organised activities, events and lessons require a permit, so organisers should contact the district before making plans. Reservations for Rick Thompson Arena require at least two weeks' notice. The district can explain availability, the application process and any insurance requirements that apply to a proposed booking.

Lighting is available, which may help organisers plan use beyond daylight, subject to the district's rules and approval. As this is an equestrian arena rather than a conventional function venue, event planners should check that the space and facilities suit their activity before applying. They should also confirm current fees, permitted uses, access arrangements and any operating restrictions directly with the district.

Rick Thompson Arena offers organisers a bookable local facility for activities that depend on an outdoor riding arena. Its management by the recreation and park district means enquiries, permits and reservations are handled through the district rather than through a separate private venue operator.
