Redwood Empire Fair

Redwood Empire Fair operates a year-round fairground and event centre in Ukiah, California, with indoor buildings and outdoor areas available to hire for private and public events. The site can suit organisers planning gatherings at different scales, from meetings and banquets to larger receptions, exhibitions and community events.

The Fine Arts Building offers 4,284 square feet of space for up to 250 guests. It includes a full-size kitchen, tables, chairs and a portable bar, making it a practical option for smaller functions. For larger occasions, Carl Purdy Hall provides 15,529 square feet and banquet capacity for up to 1,000 people, with a stage, kitchen, tables, chairs and portable bars included in the stated rental package.

Organisers can also enquire about outdoor locations and facilities across the grounds. Options listed include the Willow Tree Stage, midway, carnival field, pavilion, barbecue areas, judging ring and parking lots. The grandstand area is available for commercial events by arrangement. Tables, seating, a PA system, risers, a podium and other equipment can be hired separately, subject to availability and the venue's terms.

The fairground is positioned just off Highway 101, a short distance from central Ukiah. Its combination of halls, open-air areas and event equipment gives planners a range of settings to consider for public or private bookings. Rental enquiries, event requirements and availability can be discussed directly with the fair office.
