The Times Center

The Times Center is a bookable event venue in Midtown Manhattan, inside The New York Times Building. Its spaces support conferences, corporate and nonprofit gatherings, product launches, galas, screenings, performances, receptions and live broadcasts. Organisers can hire individual areas or bring several spaces together to suit the event format.

The Stage is a 378-seat auditorium with a wide stage, presentation technology and facilities for live broadcasts. A greenroom suite provides space for speakers and performers to prepare. The adjoining Hall offers 5,000 square feet of flexible floor space, with integrated audiovisual equipment, projection screens and adjustable lighting. It can be configured for panels, product displays, networking, dining and receptions, and can simulcast programming from The Stage. The venue describes capacity for seated dinners of up to 390 guests and receptions of up to 500.

Multilevel lobbies provide additional room for registration, guest arrival, networking, food and beverage stations, and sponsor or product displays. Event planners can work with an in-house production team, including technical and front-of-house specialists, to plan lighting, audio, video and event operations. The venue also offers accessibility features and a central location close to Times Square and public transport.

With an auditorium, adaptable event hall and connected lobby spaces under one roof, The Times Center can accommodate both presentation-led programmes and larger gatherings that need room for guests to meet, dine or explore displays.
