Birdsall House is a historic country estate in the Yorkshire Wolds, available for exclusive weddings, private celebrations and corporate events. Its characterful interiors, landscaped grounds and heritage setting provide a choice of backdrops, from formal gatherings in the house to outdoor occasions by the gardens and historic ruins.

Couples can plan civil ceremonies, receptions and wedding breakfasts across a range of spaces, including the Ballroom, Dining Room and garden lawns. The estate’s team provides bespoke planning support and coordinates the arrangements with each couple. Celebrations can extend over several days, with six bedrooms at the house for up to 12 overnight guests and additional nearby accommodation available through Langton Hall. For evening parties, The Old Kitchens offers a distinctive setting beneath the main house, with a dance floor, bar and sound and lighting facilities.

The venue also welcomes private parties, including birthdays and anniversaries, as well as corporate occasions such as board meetings, AGMs, client entertaining, team gatherings and product launches. Organisers can choose between the elegant state rooms and the more informal Old Kitchens, with the events team helping shape the occasion to suit its purpose. The house and estate also provide settings for guided visits, cultural events and filming or photography projects.
