The event site in the Reeuwijkse Hout is a spacious outdoor venue near the Reeuwijkse Plassen, in a recreational area with catering establishments and a holiday park nearby. The site consists mainly of a semi-paved car park and covers approximately 8,000 m². This provides space for a wide range of outdoor activities, such as sporting and cultural events, markets and larger public gatherings.

The venue is not a traditional hall with a fixed layout or extensive facilities. Organisers must take into account that the site has no utility connections and must determine for themselves which temporary facilities, suppliers and logistical provisions are needed. They must also ensure that emergency services can access the site and that nearby catering establishments and recreational facilities remain accessible.

Events are subject to clear conditions covering matters such as the number and duration of events, permitted periods, visitor capacity, noise, and the protection of nature and soil. The possibilities vary depending on the type of event and the time of year. Additional restrictions apply to large-scale music events.

The site is owned by Groenalliantie Midden-Holland. Anyone wishing to organise an event here must obtain permission from the landowner in advance. A notification or event permit from the local authority may also be required. The venue is particularly suitable for organisers looking for an outdoor site and willing to arrange the necessary permission, permits, temporary infrastructure and production themselves.
