GC De Corren
- Van Frachenlaan 24, 1820 Steenokkerzeel, Belgium
GC De Corren is a community centre in the centre of Steenokkerzeel, with various rooms available to hire for events, gatherings and cultural activities. Thanks to the varied selection, organisers can choose a room that suits the size and nature of their programme.
The largest room is the 250 m² theatre hall, with a 100 m² stage and retractable seating for 208 people. The hall can accommodate up to 300 people and is suitable for performances, music activities, study days and meal events, among other things. The theatre hall also has a foyer, cafeteria and kitchen. There is a bar, and the hall is equipped with furniture and crockery for larger groups. Arrangements apply for technical support when using the lighting and sound systems.
The foyer and cafeteria are also available separately for smaller receptions and informal occasions. The foyer is set up for receptions and gatherings, while the cafeteria can also be used for workshops and meetings. The multipurpose room is suitable for up to 50 people and is ideal for discussions, lectures, talks, rehearsals and smaller events. The adjoining kitchen is equipped for groups of up to 50 people.
Bookings are handled by the municipal department. Requests are only confirmed once they have been approved by the municipality. Rates vary according to the type of hirer, and the rooms are hired by the hour. De Corren therefore offers organisers in Steenokkerzeel a practical venue with several types of room and facilities under one roof.
