Thainstone Events

Thainstone Events provides indoor and outdoor spaces for organisers planning business events, private functions and larger public gatherings at Thainstone Centre in Inverurie. Its facilities include the Thainstone Exchange, the Bothy Function Suite, the Glen Garioch Meeting and Conference Room, the Concourse and an outdoor hardstanding area. The range allows organisers to consider different layouts and scales, from smaller meetings and networking sessions to dinners, award ceremonies, exhibitions, trade shows and concerts.

The Thainstone Exchange is the largest of the indoor spaces, with options for theatre, classroom, cabaret and dining layouts. It has an events kitchen and bar, staging and dance-floor options, and sound, lighting and projector facilities. The Bothy Function Suite offers a more private setting for dinners, parties, business breakfasts and networking, with a bar, kitchen and courtyard. For meetings and training, the Glen Garioch room can host up to 60 delegates and offers presentation equipment, internet access and catering options. The Concourse can be hired on its own or used to extend the Exchange for suitable events.

Organisers can also enquire about the outdoor hardstanding for markets, vehicle displays and other large-scale outdoor events. Catering is provided in partnership with Harry Fraser Catering, with menus and pricing available on request. The venue offers free on-site parking and Wi-Fi, and its location near the A96 provides access to Inverurie and Aberdeen.
