Hawthorn is a private event venue in downtown San Francisco, close to Union Square and Moscone Center. Its two separate rooms can be booked individually for smaller gatherings or together as a full venue hire for events of up to 325 guests. The venue’s lounge-style interiors, rich colours and distinctive period-inspired details offer an alternative to a conventional function room.

The Main Room accommodates up to 250 guests and suits corporate receptions, product launches, conference gatherings and seasonal parties. For more intimate occasions, the Bonaparte Room holds up to 75 guests. Its private bar, banquette seating and 1930s Hollywood-inspired décor make it a fitting setting for networking mixers, VIP receptions and private celebrations. Organisers can also enquire about exclusive use of both spaces.

Hawthorn provides full bar service and can connect organisers with preferred catering partners. In-house facilities include professional sound and lighting, microphones, screens, Wi-Fi and a photo booth. The venue also has separate sound systems in its rooms, and its flexible event layouts can support presentations, entertainment and DJ-led celebrations. Event support is available to help organisers discuss the space, facilities and arrangements for their occasion.

The venue is geared towards both corporate and private bookings, including company celebrations, client events, holiday parties, nonprofit galas and social gatherings.
