L.V. Eberhard Center

The L.V. Eberhard Center is an event venue on Grand Valley State University's downtown Grand Rapids campus. Its rooms serve organisers planning conferences, meetings, training sessions, receptions and weddings, with venue staff available to help coordinate the arrangements.

The centre offers a large multi-purpose room that can be divided into smaller sections, allowing organisers to choose a layout suited to their guest numbers and programme. Depending on the configuration, the space can accommodate up to 500 people in a theatre-style arrangement or 400 for a banquet. A teleconference auditorium with fixed seating, smaller rooms and a boardroom-style space provide options for presentations, discussions and break-out sessions.

For weddings, the venue has a dedicated reception space and can also host a ceremony and reception. The wedding offering includes room set-up, tables and chairs, white linens, china and glassware, a dance floor, a private room for the wedding party and complimentary guest parking. Food and beverage service is arranged through the centre, with catering and bar options available. Couples may choose their own other suppliers, such as a florist, photographer or DJ.

The Conference and Event Planning team can assist with room selection, event logistics and practical arrangements. The centre is close to the Grand River and downtown hotels, giving visiting guests convenient access to accommodation and city amenities. Its range of room sizes and layouts makes it suitable for both focused business gatherings and larger celebrations.
