Lizard Creek Ranch & Event Center

Lizard Creek Ranch & Event Center is a venue complex just outside Fort Dodge, Iowa, offering spaces for weddings, receptions, business events, reunions and private celebrations. Its two indoor venues cater for different group sizes and event styles.

Timber Creek Hall is the larger space, with dinner seating for up to 500 guests. It has a foyer with a bar, a commercial kitchen for use by a licensed caterer, and tables and chairs that can be arranged to suit the occasion. The venue provides a staffed bar, with options including cash, open-bar and drink-ticket arrangements. Optional hire items and set-up and clean-up services can also be arranged. For ceremonies, the grounds offer outdoor possibilities and space for photographs.

For smaller gatherings, Iron Wood Conference Center seats up to 75 people at tables, or up to 100 in presentation or ceremony seating. Facilities include a projector and screen, a large smart television, Wi-Fi and tables and chairs. It can host conferences, training sessions, showers, rehearsal dinners and smaller receptions.

The property also offers accommodation and camping, making it possible for guests to stay on site. Maple Cottage sleeps up to 30 and includes a bridal suite and games room, while Cedar Cottage accommodates up to 18. Event packages can combine Timber Creek Hall with cottage stays, campsites and bartender services. With indoor rooms, outdoor grounds and on-site lodging, the ranch provides organisers with options for both single-day events and weekend celebrations.
